King Salmon Mince
As an oily fish, salmon is one of the best sources of the essential fatty acid, Omega 3 (over 1000mg per 100gms of fish). With its anti-inflammatory properties, maintaining good levels of Omega 3 in the diet of dogs and cats is important for the well-being of the immune system, plus promoting a healthy skin and coat and preventing inflammation in joints. Salmon is also a high protein source and provides a good supply of thiamine (B1) which cats need a plentiful supply (5 times more than dogs) and also the amino acid Taurine, which is essential to cats for the health of their eyes and heart in particular. unlike dogs, cats cannot produce taurine themselves. Salmon is one of the best sources for B6 and B12 – both vital for a healthy of the nervous system and brain development.
Possum Mince – Prey Model 80:10:10
Wild Possum meat is high in protein, minerals and vitamins and contains the highest concentration of Omega 3 essential fatty acid of any protein source besides fish. The anti-inflammatory properties of Omega 3 aid the healthy functioning of the heart and organs and also promote a healthy skin and coat. Additionally, you can also pat yourselves on the back, knowing that your purchase is helping to eradicate the possum pest problem in New Zealand where they destroy an estimated 20,000 tonnes of foliage per night!
Bone In, Offal In & Meat Blend – Prey Model 80:10:10
Wallaby Mince
Wild wallaby is a highly nutritious protein source for dogs and cats. It is low in cholesterol and fat, yet high in protein and minerals, in particular iron which promotes a healthy metabolism and strong muscle growth, plus helps reduce the risk of anaemia.
Lamb Heart Diced
Lamb Heart is a very complete protein and is filled with a number of B vitamins, omega-3 fatty acids and beneficial minerals, including iron, phosphorus, magnesium and selenium. Heart is a good source of the essential amino acid Taurine, vital for the healthy functioning of the eyes and heart. It is also packed with vitamins in particular B12 (aids the nervous system) and also thiamine (B1) which cats need in abundance. It is one of the best sources for the mineral selenium which helps protect the immune system. As it is so nutrient dense, Heart should only constitute around 10% of their overall diet. It is not classified as offal (secreting organs) for pet food, so the 10% is in additional to 10% maximum of offal.

All of these promote energy release and muscle development and B1 is especially beneficial for the healthy functioning of the heart and nervous system. Glucosamine and chondroitin are also found in good supply in wild venison, promoting cartilage nourishment and long-term joint health.
Our Venison Wild Life Meal is an 80:10:10 Prey model blend.
Joint health is also aided by the essential fatty acids, in particular Omega 3 found in the kelp, Salmon Roe, green-lipped mussels, coconut and sunflower oils, which in addition to promoting healthy skin and a shiny coat possess anti-inflammatory properties to help prevent or reduce joint pain.

Brodie’s has made changing over to a raw diet for our boy Volka the easiest transition! Volka had been turning up his food for days but as soon as we changed him over to a raw diet he’s been so good! The service is amazing and it was the best decision for us!
Roko received his Beginners Bags today and already, I am SO impressed. You can see EXACTLY what your dog is eating which is something you don’t get with well known kibble brands. Love it!
He’s been loving his raw food. And so have I! Such a breeze having them in their daily portion sized baggies. Not to mention the difference in his poops vs what they were while he was on kibble! Awesome!
Absolutely love the service and food provided by Brodie's! The Beginner's Bags were a great way to transition him into Raw food. His fur is so soft and shiny, breath doesn't smell as much and his stools have been firmer and smaller! Thanks a bunch for your amazing service Anne-Marie!
